Nelson’s dam, ”Ellie”, had a successful dressage and show career.  With her wonderful temperament she later became a valued and trusted mount for beginners to learn on or to commence competition.  Nelson’s full sister is competing in dressage and at Royal show level.

Lord Nelson    Lovingly and carefully reared, professionally broken in and trained, he has had every chance in life to develop his great potential as a top dressage and show horse, now for sale due to his owner’s health issues.

This imposing horse has a great future ridden and led in the show ring and is an exciting prospect for dressage.  He is a good ride, an uncomplicated and hassle free mount.

Both his parents were winning dressage horses. 

 Trained by Lindy Walker, one of Australia’s top competitors and trainers, he has proved his quality, manners and paces in the Show Ring against top company.  Nelson has had correct basic Dressage training from the beginning, he is ready to compete Novice and beyond.

 Nelson has that special quality that makes him responsive but relaxed, with a rounded frame, a steady light contact and a good attitude to training.  He has flexibility and three correct rhythmical paces.

Well-established are his working and medium paces, work on a long rein, lateral work, accurate walk through and trot through changes, good square and steady halt.  He moves with precision and a pleasing cadence which makes his movement being expressive with good elevation and he is light to the ground with excellent lift into the canter.

 Lord Nelson has a wonderful nature, with a kind, intelligent expression in his eye, and is easy to handle, shoe and float and is guaranteed drug free

Marena Fanfare is living proof that Champions breed Champions.  His mother, Alhambra Fantasy - Supreme Champion of New Zealand.  His father, the legendary Sun Puff (imp) was a Royal Show Champion in England and Australia - One of our most prolific sires of Champions and one of the best moving stallions to be brought to Australia.

Fanfare has been used by our pupils for their riding classes at shows - First show or experienced rider makes no difference to Fanfare, he just goes out there and performs brilliantly for them.

A regular winner, he has performed equally well in Open Galloway classes and Show Hunter classes.

Marena Fanfare is a perfect gentleman.  If you want a no-fuss horse that is a delight to ride with an even temperament, no trouble to show, easy to get on with and wins Champions - This is the horse for you.

For sale regretfully due to our continued downsizing to cut the workload for the next couple of years.

2005 - Runner-up Show Hunter of the Year, NSW Hack Council.  He won 14 Championships at 11 shows.

2006 - Won 5 Champions at 6 shows

At Gosford Show, 16th August, 2006 she won the Open Show Hunter Galloway on him at his first show since spelling in May.

Jared Ashbrooke on Fanfare at Canberra Royal.  This duo has won first and Reserve Champion at both Canberra Royal and Sydney Royal this year.
